We've launched a new Smartphone app for Jobs Expo Dublin, so you can keep up-to-date with Jobs Expo on the go. The new Jobs Expo smartphone app is available from the iPhone and Google app stores.
How it works
So how does it work? There is a complete list of all the exhibitors recruiting at the upcoming Jobs Expo along with a short company bio for each. In addition, users can see who is taking part in the popular Jobs Expo Seminar Zone. There’s also all the latest Jobs Expo news, a schedule of events taking place on the day, and an interactive map of the Jobs Expo venue.
“The app is really easy to use and straightforward. That was very important to us,” says Kevin Branigan of Careers Unlimited, one of the organisers of the event.
“It is all part of our ongoing investment in improving the experience of anyone connecting with Jobs Expo, whether they are a jobseeker or a company recruiting at the event.”
The next Jobs Expo takes place on Saturday 22 October at Croke Park in Dublin. Currently, the app lists exhibitors taking part in this forthcoming event. Jobs Expo Cork takes place on Wednesday 16 November. The app will automatically update to show the Cork details once Jobs Expo Dublin has finished. This way, jobseekers can stay up to date with Jobs Expo and the career opportunities on offer at the events in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
“The companies recruiting at each event may be looking to fill local, national or international positions. If you are seriously looking for a job, or just want to keep track of potential opportunities, the app makes it easy,” says Kevin.
