Biopharmaceutical firm PAREXEL are opening their global decision-making hub in Dublin creating 130 new jobs.

The global hub is located in Kilmainham, Dublin 8. In addition to the 70 staff members that are currently in place, PAREXEL will be hiring 130 new employees over the next 12 - 18 months.

The firm are recruiting people for the following roles:  clinical, technology, legal, consulting, and logistics – and at all levels, including senior decision-making roles in their Kilmainham location.

Software-based solutions company Numerix announces that 30 new jobs are being created in Dublin.

Numerix provides cross-asset analytics for derivatives valuations and risk management.

The firm is recruiting people who have experience in the following positions, financial engineering, financial analytics development, as well as professionals in legal and accounting.

Numerix is looking to hire 30 high-skilled employees over the next three years. Numerix is based in New York, it provides asset solutions for structuring, pre-trade price discovery, trade capture, valuation and portfolio management of derivatives and structured products, for more than 700 clients and 75 partners across more than 26 countries.

Steven R. O’Hanlon, Chief Executive Officer & President of Numerix said: “We’re seeking a labor force comprised of high level professionals in the area of financial engineering, financial analytic development, quality assurance, quantitative first and second tier support, as well as personnel with backgrounds in legal and accounting domain knowledge.”

Ireland’s leading niche insurance provider Blue Insurance, is creating 100 new jobs in the capital.

Blue Insurance are recruiting for the following roles; Call Centre Customer Services, IT developers, Junior Management, and Administrative levels in their Dublin office.

The announcement of the new positions takes the firm's employee numbers from 45 to 145.

Blue Insurance Limited, an Irish company, formed in October 2003, has 160,000 existing Irish customers and over 200,000 UK customers across its 14 brands with familiar names such as Multitrip.com, gadgetinsurance.com, carhireexcess.com and petinsurance.ie.

Ciaran Mulligan, Managing Director of Blue Insurance spoke of the company’s expansion, “We are delighted to announce 100 new jobs which will facilitate our rapid growth and expansions plans in the insurance market over the coming years. These new jobs will help our existing business, our new unique personal lines products and will drive further International expansion in the UK, Australian, UAE and US Markets”.
