Job Summary:

This role is accountable for ensuring the production cells are actively engaged to meet the daily customer demand and production schedule.

The Production Line Lead provides efficient training to the production / assembly units and ensures safety and quality standards are continually maintained. They also provide cover for the Production Supervisor.


Execute and coordinate employee training to guarantee that procedures are followed and meet all quality requirements.
Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure steady operation of the work cell.
Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, raw material and labour to the Production Supervisor.
Work closely with aid staff such as Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Supervisor, Materials /Warehouse to settle issues.
Complete lot approval activities for assigned cell.
Update production metrics and expedite regular communication.
Detect and support continuous improvement efforts with Production Supervisor.
Participate as an active participant of the production team and produce / assemble products as required.
Follow documented policies and procedures as specified by the companys Quality System.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and processes.
Complete necessary documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean and structured work area to facilitate manufacturing functions and to ensure zero lost time accidents.
Identify training requirements by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
Train all employees to keep informed on SOPs and MIs
Ensure all employees training files are up to date with the most current alteration of procedures
Participate in operator evaluation process.

HETAC Level 6 or Level 7 in a relevant discipline
Minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience is desired, preferably in a medical manufacturing environment.
Specific Requirements:

Experience leading teams strongly desired.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Ability to work well with others and pay attention to detail.
