Job Summary
PDU Cloud RAN is a new organization that will be leading the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native Radio Access Network (RAN) product offering with commercial engagements starting during 2020. The new PDU will contain in one organization total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks & capability to chip in to open source communities in ONAP.
To set ourselves up for greatness we will count on our technical leaders to truly embody our business areas three Cs, Customer Focus, Collaboration and Can-do, to drive the realization of the Ericsson Cloud RAN portfolio.
In this role you will be part of an engineering team with full ownership of a key aspect of our product
Key Responsibilities
Be an engineer and a technical leader helping your team to both deliver on short-term commitments and to evolve our architecture into the future
Have the technical and human proficiencies needed to help craft our vision for a truly Cloud-Native RAN solution
Be just as comfortable whiteboarding technical solutions with engineering teams as you are communicating those solutions to management and customers alike
Have a track record of designing and developing enterprise scale microservices based products
be passionate about driving collaborations across multiple business areas within a large organization
Key Qualifications
Have 7+ years’ experience developing large scale products
Be a confirmed technical leader with a can-do attitude to make things happen!
Demonstrate experience of achieving customer delivery timelines in application development and helping others to deliver on their accountabilities. All while balancing cost, time to market and quality.
Thrive when you get to engage with customers, external partners, within Ericsson and outside to strengthen alliances.
