Manager, Transfer Agency (Dealing)
The Transfer Agency department provides a third party fund administration service to numerous fund management companies covering the full range of shareholder servicing functions including dealing, registration, finance and investor services. Transfer Agency is a growing department based over 4 locations Limerick, Dublin, Bangalore and Pune. It’s a fast paced environment offering all partners excellent opportunities to grow their careers.
Reporting into the Senior Dealing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the Dealing team, ensuring that regulatory and management company requirements are met. You will prepare work schedules and assigns duties to ensure efficient operation of the group; determine most efficient method of processing, services and reporting, and ensure that adequate systems support are obtained and maintained.
Responsible for ensuring the day to day dealing quality and delivery
Responsible for the delivery of all predication reporting and deal schedules
Workflow queue management and analysis
Achievement of monthly KPIs
Compliance with regulations and attainment of client specific processing requirements
Day to day oversight of processing quality and timeliness in Bangalore, seeking appropriate information from local management there where required
Maximise scalability through the use of onshore and offshore locations and multi-function, i.e., dealing , registration and finance
Maintains a close working relationship with other areas, such as Finance, New Business, ICM and other internal areas such as the Relationship Managers
Analyse monthly management information to understand where quality at an individual, process, team or management company needs to be addressed
To work with the team, internal departments and Group projects area on any allocated projects.
To work with internal departments to evaluate and implement changes in proposed new regulations and to ensure that all current requirements are met
Escalation point for unresolved issues to the Bangalore TA team.
Liaising with clients regarding Service and Service Level Agreements.
Provides management and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
Ensure that appropriate segregation of duties controls are in place at all times
Responsible for the recruitment, appraisals and retention of staff
Sets partner objectives and monitors these and provides feedback through monthly one to one meetings
Responsible for the development of the team.
Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements
Management of department in accordance with agreed budgetary guidelines
Ensuring that KPIs are achieved in order to keep ASLs to a minimum.
Skills / Experience
Previous operational experience in a financial services environment is desirable.
Previous management experience is desirable.
A good understanding of effective risk management
Effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Ability to review and resolve complex issues
Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative
Client Service experience
Knowledge and understanding of various regulatory Environments
