International Key Account Manager

About the Role
We are looking for you to join Planet France as an International Key Account Manager on a permanent contract.
The role is to further develop relationships with existing retailers, and manage key account relationships.
What you will do
You will be required to carry the following activities:
Manage the delivery International Key Account Plans as set out by Country Manager. Strengthen relationships with retail accounts to ensure the delivery of these plans.
Lead meetings with International Key Account Retailers and drive International Key Account relationships to deliver on the pre-set Country targets.
Maintain a defined Key Accounts activity log of all actions relating to each key accounts and ensure regular reporting.
Communicate weekly with the key stakeholders to give feedback on sales activity to the extent these affect their areas of responsibility. Ensure all actions from these meetings are achieved within the agreed timescales
Keep abreast of all competitor activity and market place opportunities to ensure that the Company remains competitive and ahead of the game in all aspects of the market
Manage the training, development and marketing opportunities with Retail Accounts to ensure continuous business growth which in return will maximize tourist satisfaction. This includes working as a ‘Company Brand Ambassador’ to ensure consistency and a high level of service at all times.
Identify and define joint product opportunities, working with the other Country Sales Teams to shape propositions and analyse competitive products and activities in keeping with the Sales Strategy. Ensure all local market intelligence is fed back to all relevant Stakeholders and the Country Sales Manager on a timely basis.
Carry out all key account reviews and support the Country Sales Manager in retail decision making on product planning and marketing. Prepare statistics and reports as required.
Be fully conversant and understand authority level and ultimate accountability of this role for the region. Liaise regularly with Country Sales Manager and other relevant stakeholders to ensure full compliance as the levels are dynamic as the business grows.
Who you are
A proven track record of managing strategic relationships and delivering high profile agreements.
At least 5 years’ experience of performing field sales/account management in the Retail /Finance services industry.
Must have a goal-orientated working knowledge within a performance related culture.
Have excellent French communication and presentation skills; excellent business English is required
