Eamon joined Galway Mayo Institute in 2014 as a lecturer in Software Development at the Department of Computer Science and Applied Physics in the School of Science. His specialist teaching areas included Web Technologies, Cloud Computing and Computer Architecture. Eamon served as Head of Department of Enterprise & Technology in the School of Business for six years and most recently as Project Innovation Manager on the Higher Education 4.0 project, an innovation project funded through the Human Capital Initiative. Eamon has over 20 years industry experience, working for both multi-nationals in Ireland and overseas and SMEs in technical and management roles including running his own business for 10 years.
