We are proud to announce that Applegreen will be exhibiting as well as recruiting at Jobs Expo Dublin. Our Dublin event takes place on Saturday 18th October at Croke Park.

About Applegreen

Established in 1992, Applegreen is a major petrol forecourt retailer in Ireland. The company also has a significant and growing presence in the United Kingdom, and small presence in the US.

The company operates a distinctive retail led business model. They focus on offering “low fuel prices always” to drive footfall to its sites. In addition, the company aims to provide a premium food and hot beverages in all its sites.

This September, Applegreen placed a total of 8,082,105 placing shares on the Stock Exchange raising €46.9m for the company. These shares represent approximately 10 percent of the company's issued share capital prior to the placing.

“The funds raised will ensure Applegreen is well positioned to continue to invest in opportunities for growth across our three markets,” said CEO Bob Etchingham.

In August the company announced a deal to buy seven sites in the UK. In addition, in July they concluded a deal to buy 34 filling stations in South Carolina.

Careers

If you passionate about customer service or mad about food, Applegreen wants to hear from you. They are always looking for highly motivated individuals to join their team.

Applegreen also runs a Management Development Programme. This gives their employees a chance to progress within the company. This programme prepares professionals to assume roles and positions in operations, leadership, and human development. It also provides training based on proven best practice.

Applegreen Charitable Fund

Applegreen makes a 1c donation to the Applegreen Charitable Fund for every purchase customers make. In addition, the fund is further boosted by ongoing fund-raising activities and events organised by Applegreen staff. In 2017, the fund is supporting Barnados, Debra Ireland and the ISPCC.
