The primary objective for SOLAS is to create an exceptional, systematic Further Education and Training (FET) industry in Ireland that satisfies the requirements of learners, as well as the economy.
FET courses, delivered by Education and Training Boards, are designed, organised and subsidized by SOLAS. Furthermore, the organisation market further education training courses that are applicable to student and national needs. In addition, SOLAS support the development of an innovative, dynamic and demand-led lifelong learning sector to secure the economic and social prominence of Ireland.
