History
On the 8 November 1819, a group of business people elected a committee to investigate the establishment of a new commercial organisation. Within the week, on 13 November, the group decided to establish a Chamber of Commerce. Since then, the Chamber has significantly grown. They now represent over 1,100 businesses in Cork who employ around to 100,000 people. The Chamber supports and represent Cork’s businesses on issues within the region.
Services
The Chamber assists businesses of all size. It provides them with the tools and resources to grow and develop, both nationally and internationally. These include:

- Business support services
In addition, the Chamber has tailored and targeted packages to suit a particular business’s needs. They can assist with starting up to trading internationally.
