
AirNav Ireland is Ireland’s dedicated Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP), responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and seamless movement of aircraft through more than 451,000 km² of Irish‑controlled airspace. Established in 2023 as a commercial semi‑state organisation, AirNav Ireland plays a vital role in keeping Ireland connected with the world by delivering air traffic management, aeronautical communications, and related aviation services across the country.
With a workforce of approximately 650 highly skilled professionals operating across six key locations, including Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Ballycasey, and Ballygirreen, the organisation manages air traffic services at Ireland’s three State airports while also providing en‑route control for international flights passing through Irish airspace. More than 200 air traffic controllers and 50 radio officers support the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic every day.
