GRETB's day courses are designed to provide early school leavers, individuals entering the labor market for the first time and those wishing to upskill with necessary technical and generic skills relevant to current and future labour market needs.
Courses are accredited by National and Internationally recognised Accreditation Bodies, such as, Quality and Qualifications (QQI), City & Guilds, Microsoft and Cisco. Most courses have a strong work placement element. The duration of training programmes can vary from seven to fifty weeks. Training is generally delivered on a full-time basis from Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 3.45pm and Friday 8.30am to 12.45pm.
In addition, GRETB courses are free of charge to unemployed individuals and participants may be entitled to a training, travel or childcare allowance. (Programmes are run subject to demand and dates may change).
