About the survey
The Central Statistics Office tells us that jobs are up and unemployment is down. But these figures don't reflect peoples' experiences looking for work, or the treatment they receive on the job. That's where we come in. We want to know what it's like on the ground. That's why we run surveys in Galway every six months.
In our February 2017 survey you told us some important information: that half of you were unhappy with the Government’s Action Plan for Rural Ireland; that 45 percent of you had worked for a manager who bullied staff; and that company stability, and opportunity for career advancement were both very important to you.
