Jobs at ZELTIQ Aesthetics – Meet them at Jobs Expo Galway

For careers in the growing medtech sector and jobs at ZELTIQ, don’t miss Jobs Expo Galway on 11 February 2017. The company will be exhibiting and recruiting at our inaugural Galway event.

ZELTIQ® Aesthetics, Inc. is an American medical technology company. They focus on developing and commercialising products utilizing their proprietary controlled-cooling technology platform.

CoolSculpting®

ZELTIQ’s first commercial product, the CoolSculpting® system, selectively reduces stubborn fat bulges that may not respond to diet or exercise.

The basis of the technology is the scientific principle that fat cells are more sensitive to cold that the overlying skin and surrounding tissues. It has been the subject of more than 120 podium presentations and more than 30 published articles around the world.

The CoolSculpting procedure safely delivers precisely controlled cooling. As a result, it gently and effectively targets the fat cells underneath the skin. Treated fat cells freeze and then die. Therefore, over time, the body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted form.

Since ZELTIQ’s founding in 2005, CoolSculpting has become the number one non-invasive fat reduction procedure.  CoolSculpting is available in over 70 countries and more than 3,500,000 patients have undergone the procedure. In addition, the company continues to introduce new applicators that enable more parts of the body to be treated.

A fast growing technology company

In 2015, ZELTIQ was recognized for the second consecutive year on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™. This is a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunication, life sciences, and clean technologies companies – both public and private – in North America.
