Meet BCS Sales Recruitment

Meet BCS Sales Recruitment at Jobs Expo Dublin this October

Don’t miss your chance to meet BCS Sales Recruitment at Jobs Expo Dublin on Saturday 21 October 2017 when the event returns to Croke Park.

BCS Sales Recruitment provides human resources services to a variety of industries. They are experts in the selection of staff across all levels of an organisation, from trainee to management and director level. BCS also runs a sales school offering upskilling to sales professionals.

BSC at Jobs Expo Galway

BCS are the sponsors and organisers of the Jobs Expo. Since 2012, they have run highly successful careers events in Dublin and Cork. In 2017 Galway was added to the schedule. They are also the team behind Virtual Expos Ireland.

“Jobs Expo allows employees and employers to meet and discuss career opportunities in a relatively informal setting,” says Bronagh Cotter of BCS. “Candidates can meet a variety of employers, and employers can conduct initial interviews with potential employees. However, for recruitment firms like BCS, it is also a chance to connect with candidates and companies.”

BCS Sales Recruitment’s specialists will be on hand at Jobs Expo Galway. The team can offer advise to jobseekers on a number of subjects such as interview skills and career development. BCS’s jobseeker services are available to anyone looking for employment.

“Over our many years in recruitment we have learnt that many jobseekers are unsure how to sell themselves to employers. They may have all the necessary skills and experience, but they have trouble communicating that. Other candidates underestimate the importance of soft skills, and fail to highlight these.”

Successful recruitment is mutually beneficial

Bronagh says recruitment should create a mutually beneficial relationship between candidates and companies.

“BCS aims to find the best fit for both employees and employers. Most organisations want something more than just an employee with skills and experience. They want staff who fit into their company’s culture. It is much the same for jobseekers, particularly if they have in-demand skills. Salary is a consideration, but not the only one. Their priority may be the potential for promotion, the chance to upskill, travel opportunities or work-life balance,” she explains.

“We match a candidate’s goals and expectations with the right company. It’s not a job well done unless both the candidate and company benefit. Consider how much of our lives are spent at work. That means that finding the right fit is crucial.”

They are experts in the selection of specialised professionals from graduate trainee to senior management and director level. In addition, BCS now offer a school of sales for salespeople who want to upskill.

BCS are the main sponsors of Jobs Expo. They are the organisers of the Jobs Expo events in Dublin, Cork and Galway as well as the team behind Virtual Expos Ireland.

During Jobs Expo, the BCS Sales Recruitment team of recruitment specialists will be on hand. The team will advise jobseekers on a number of subjects. These include CV preparation, interview skills, and career development. Their jobseeker services are available to anyone looking for employment. If you are a recent graduate, changing career, returning to work or unemployed after a dismissal, BCS can help.

“Our jobseeker services have been developed over our many years in recruitment. Candidates may have a wealth of energy and talent to offer, but many are unsure how to sell themselves to employers. Others underestimate the importance of abilities that are not easy to categorise on a CV, such as soft skills, and fail to highlight these. That is where BCS can help. We work closely candidates and employers to find the best fit for both of them.”

Matching skills and ambitions with the right role

Bronagh believes that successful recruitment is about creating mutually beneficial relationships between employers and employees.

“Companies don’t just consider professional skills and experience when they want to fill a role – they want to meet candidates who will slot into their company’s culture. By the same token, jobseekers, particularly those with in-demand skills, want more than just a good salary. For some, working on innovative projects or with cutting-edge companies is as important, if not more so, than remuneration; for others, travel, the potential for promotion, or work-life balance are crucial,” says Bronagh.

“BCS works to match a candidate’s career ambitions and expectations with the right company. We don’t consider it a job well done unless both the employer and employee benefit. We spent so much of our day at work that accepting anything less is simply unacceptable.”
