The Cork-headquartered customer services provider, Zevas Communications has announced its plans to create 50 new roles. Those who are hired will be based in the new Mitchelstown hub but will also have the choice to work from home.

The new positions are mainly in customer service and sales, however, they are also hiring for tech-focused roles. Zevas is currently advertising a number of hybrid and remote positions on its website.

The hub signifies the company’s expansion in Cork. Their headquarters are in Cork city but they have two other offices, one in Waterford and the other in Dublin. They opened their Waterford office in 2020 after implementing their hybrid working strategy in 2019.

The business currently allows people to work from home or at the hubs. Zevas provides tech support, customer experience, content moderation, and sales services to businesses in various industries like digital media, financial services, telecoms, and utilities.

They offer support in over 20 languages to clients across North America, EMEA, and APAC with clients including Twitter, Unicef, CIE Tours, Google, PayPal, and more. The company’s COO has said the company looks forward to hiring the skilled people in Cork and that it will offer as much assistance to facilitate working from home.

They announced their plans to take on 40 new team members for their Dublin and Cork offices in 2016 and they now have a workforce of over 150 individuals.
